I did a photo shoot for the Pulse Prophets on Saturday night January 23, 2010 before their show at Nectar's in downtown Burlington, Vermont. They are a reggae band from Burlington, and the bass player is a good friend of mine. I had a couple of ideas before I got to the club but they involved being outside. Being winter in Vermont, it was freezing outside, so I decided to scout out Club Metronome (which is upstairs from Nectar's). Metronome wasn't open for another couple of hours and they have some pretty interesting looking furniture and lights up there, so off we went. Once up there we moved around a little furniture and I got my lights set up (One sb-800 and one sb-900). I put the sb-900 on the floor in front of me and the sb-800 on camera right and bounced it off the wall. I also used the existing lights in the ceiling for some added colors and shot away. We didn't have a lot of time so I ended up only shooting about 15 photos on the blue couch.
